KZYX&Z’s Be More Now Welcomes Mendocino Treasure, Author and performer Sherry Glaser

Tune into KZYX&Z’s Be More Now show at 7pm on Thursday, August 4 when host Blake More will interview Mendocino County treasure, writer/performer Sherry Glaser. Their conversation is a mix of comedy and philosophy, activism and linguistics, as Sherry discusses her latest creative offering, a book entitled:  Mama’s 1st Pocket Chicktionary: Taking the Dick Out of Dictionary, a bridge to the feminine paradigm.

Sherry Glaser is both Actress and Author. Her one woman shows are legendary, her political activism scandalous, her literary accomplishments impressive. She has been a champion of the feminine for her entire life and has used her artistic voice to promote, highlight, reclaim and recall the power of the Mother.

A 30 year Mendocino Coast Resident, Sherry has created and stared in a number of one woman- Comedies, including:  FAMILY SECRETS, OH MY GODDESS! and TAKING THE HIGH ROAD.  She has published a number of books, including a memoir also called FAMILY SECRETS, THE FIRST PRACTICAL HANDBOOK FOR CRAZY PEOPLE and she is featured in Literary anthologies: THE OTHER WOMAN, EXIT LAUGHING, HE SAID WHAT? and WARRIOR MOTHERS

On the political front she is a long time activist and founder of the Pro-Peace group BREASTS NOT BOMBS. She was a DJ on KZYX for 11 years where, besides being one of the hosts of Women’s Vioces, she also broadcast her weekly news commentary; THE GOOD NEWS.

In her words, she magically survived the pandemic with Tarot and literary pursuits, and thus has a brand new book, a collaboration with the Amazon Queen Kym Trippsmith titled: Mama’s 1st Pocket Chicktionary:  Taking the Dick out of dictionary, A bridge to the feminine paradigm.
